Learn to Sew – Lavender Eye Pillow

In this hands on workshop for young people you will learn core sewing skills while making a lovely lavender eye pillow with a removable envelope cover. Ali will guide you step by step through measuring and cutting the fabric, sewing an inner pillow, constructing an envelope-style outer cover, filling the pillow with a blend of lavender and flaxseed and completing the project with a label of your choice.
In a relaxed and friendly environment, we’ll cover how to safely use a sewing machine, thread and set it up, sew straight seams, follow simple instructions, and finish your project neatly. Designed for complete beginners, the workshop focuses on building confidence with sewing techniques while producing a functional, well-made item to take home.
All materials are provided, including the use of a sewing machines, sewing tools, pattern to take home, a curated selection of fabrics to choose from and a label to add personalisation. You can simply arrive, relax and enjoy the creative process! You’ll leave with new skills, a handmade lavender eye pillow to be proud of, and the confidence to keep sewing.
