Start your sewing journey with confidence – no experience needed!Join us at Jenny Stitches for a relaxed and welcoming 6-week course designed especially for beginners (or anyone in need of a refresh). You'll learn how to use a sewing machine, understand fabric and patterns, and complete a range of simple, satisfying projects.
By the end of the course, you’ll be confidently threading your machine, sewing seams, reading patterns and finishing garments with pride – all in the company of fellow stitchers and a cuppa or two.
You’ll learn:
How to thread and operate a sewing machine.
Fabric types and how to choose the right one.
Reading and understanding sewing patterns.
Creating your own tote bag, zipped make up bag and stretch fabric project.
Includes all materials, expert tuition, and plenty of encouragement.
No pressure, no judgement – just a lovely way to learn a lifelong skill.
Course Dates: Wednesday 3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th September, 1st & 8th October
Course Times: 6pm-9pm (18 hours total).
