It’s never too early (or too late!) learn to ride a bike! Join Oaks and Spokes at our inaugural all-ages Learn to Ride event.
About this Event

The event is geared to kids (of all ages!) and parents of kids, who want to learn to ride a bicycle without training wheels. Parents should bring their kids, their kids’ bikes and helmets. Don't have a bike or helmet? Don't worry - we have loaners! We’ll walk the soon-to-be-riders through the process, which is to sign in, check bike and helmet fit, remove training wheels and pedals, and lower the seat so the rider can stand comfortably over the bike. When the time’s right, we’ll reinstall the pedals – and turn this “balancing act” into practice with the pedals in motion!

The event will take place at Marsh Creek Community Center in the parking lot. If it rains, we will move inside the Community Center.

Please reach out to Mary-Jo Gellenbeck, Safe Routes to School Coordinator with any questions or for more information at [email protected].
