About this Event
Learn or re-learn how to ride a bicycle.
The Learn-to-Ride Class: Adults and Teens is for teens (15+)* and adults who want to learn or re-learn how to ride a bicycle. With our safe, easy, and efficient curriculum, participants will gain the confidence to master fundamental bike riding skills. Most participants will leave knowing how to ride a bike without support; if not, they'll leave equipped to keep learning independently.
In this class, you'll learn:
- Basic bike riding skills, including starting, stopping, steering, and balancing
- How to adjust a bike helmet for appropriate fit
- How to adjust a bike’s seat to your height
- Discounted access to the Heartland Bike Share System and resources for continuing your cycling journey
Bikes and helmets are provided for all participants.
*A parent must be present throughout the class if a participant is a minor (under 19 years old).
