Have clothes with holes or missing buttons in your wardrobe, but no idea how to repair them?
ZERRIN is delighted to be teaming up with the upcycling experts at Movin' Menders to bring you this workshop to learn useful repair and mending skills!
Held in ZERRIN's bright and airy concept space at Marina One, you'll learn a host of useful repair techniques that will empower you to extend the life of your clothes and DIY your next fix at home.
You'll be guided through:
1) Sewing on a button
2) Patching holes
3) Make something shorter and sewing a hem
To note: All materials we be provided for you. However, if you have an item that fits into the above scope that you'd like to fix, please bring it along with you! The trainers will also be on hand to answer any of your garment repair queries.
ABOUT MOVIN' MENDERS
A roving repairs workshop, Movin' Menders is a collaboration between upcycling designer Muta Wear and repairs provider Alt.Native. They offer fuss free alterations and host workshops to teach you how to mend, repair and care for your clothes to fight fashion waste.
The team are fashion folk who alter what you ask, fix on the fly and repair on the run, while teaching one and all to love their clothes by working on them by hand. Join the mending movement!
