ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Kim Colegrove is an international speaker, author, and training instructor with extensive experience in mindfulness, stress reduction, and emotional resilience. She has taught professionally for over 15 years. In 2014, she lost her husband to suicide, shortly after he retired from a 30-year law-enforcement career. That personal tragedy shifted the trajectory of her work. Since then, she has focused exclusively on supporting trauma-exposed professionals, including first responders, nurses, social workers and others.
Kim is the author of Mindfulness for Warriors, The Mindfulness for Warriors Handbook, Wellness Warrior Style, and The 21-Day Meditation Jumpstart Journal. She’s also the founder of Pause First Academy, an online platform that provides trauma-sensitive training and practical tools for professionals in high-stress, service-oriented roles.
The Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing (BCEN) offers robust nursing specialty certification programs fostering empowered nurses across the emergency spectrum who contribute noticeably to patient care, safety and outcomes.
