Learn to Paint like Henri Matisse - Bury St Edmunds
About this Event
"Enrol by 12th July and save 5% on your course fee — no code needed!"
s Henri Matisse one of your favourite artists? Have you ever wondered how he created his bold, colourful artworks?
If you’d like to explore his use of colour, pattern and shape, and create your own piece inspired by his style, this is a great opportunity to do so.
You’ll experiment with Matisse-inspired techniques, guided by our experienced art tutor Marina, who will support you step by step as you develop your own artwork.
Materials required for this workshop
You will need to bring a set of oil or acrylic paints, brushes suitable for oils and acrylics, a turpentine (if you are painting with oils), a palette and a larger size canvas or canvas board.
Throughout July, we’re running a series of art workshops exploring a range of artists and different creative techniques. See below for dates, or get in touch to find out more.
We also offer a wider programme of longer courses, available both daytime and in the evening—contact us for full details.
All our courses run based on a minimum number of participants.
If you are no longer able to attend, please contact us at your earliest convenience. Cancellations received within 2 days of the course start date are non-refundable.
Missed sessions by individual students are non-refundable.
