Learn to make Mumbai street food!

Come to Rowhouse Grocery for a cooking class where you'll learn how to make a favorite Mumbai street food dish, ragda pattice. This dish consists of savory potato patties topped with white pea gravy, tamarind and cilantro chutneys, and allll the toppings. You will never throw out a wilting bunch of cilantro again. (If you don't like cilantro, this could be tough.)

This class is led by South Philly resident Shebani Rao, who wants to show you that there is more to life and Indian food than chicken tikka masala. Shebani is obsessed with finding ingredients in the neighborhood and will point you to small businesses that will help you stock your Indian kitchen.
