About this Event
Learn to sew a simple, lined zipped pouch that you can use for glasses, headphones or small toiletries or to gift to friends and family by reusing beautiful, quality samples from the Yodomo Circular Hub.
You will choose your fabrics to reuse and learn the basics of lining and zipping your pouch led by Yodomo. You will take away your new zipped pouch and can also choose some extra samples to make more pouches when you get home.
You will be provided with everything you need to make the medium-sized chic triangular tote for everyday use.
This project is ideal for working with samples and smaller offcuts.
We recommend that participants come with some basic sewing machine skills but you will be guided through the workshop to finish your piece.
All materials and machinery are provided. Participants will also learn more about sustainable solutions for industry 'waste' materials.
The workshop will be held at Yodomo's studio at the Textile Reuse Hub, Hackney Wick.
