The Perfect Tassel
Date: Saturday, December 13th, 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm
Cost: $20 per student, minimum of 6 students, maximum of 20
Description: Tassels can add a fun finish to so many projects, but if they’re not made just right, they can end up looking sloppy instead of polished and professional. In this class we’ll learn all the tips and tricks you need to make the perfect tassel. Then you’ll be ready to add them to every scarf, shawl, bag, and even the tops of holiday presents! They’re a great way to use up your scrap yarn and add some flair!
Tools and Supplies:
Yarn - any weight of yarn you choose, bring several colors and yarn weights to play around!
Notions – Tapestry needle, sharp scissors, Optional – beads, buttons All tools and supplies are available at Casting On for an additional cost.
Pattern: No pattern needed
What you need to know: Not a single thing! We’ll work our tassels from start to finish!
What you’ll learn: How to make a tassel, tips for making it look professional, fun ideas for embellishments beyond the basic tassel!

You may cancel a class up to 1 week prior to the start of class and the class fee will be returned to you as store credit. Our instructors rely on these classes being full as part of their livelihood. While we do maintain a waitlist, we can’t utilize it for last minute cancellations which hurts our instructor’s income. For this reason, last minute cancellation or failure to come to class without prior arrangements will not result in class fees credited.
