Learn to Lift: Barbell Strength Workshop
About this Event
Learn to Lift: Barbell Strength Workshop
This is not a workout class. It is a hands-on learning experience designed to help you understand why you lift the way you do, not just copy movements.
Over six hours, you’ll break down six fundamental strength movements, including the squat, bench press, overhead press, chin up, and deadlift, learn key barbell movement patterns, practice proper setup and technique, and receive live coaching and individualized feedback. We’ll move between education and hands-on lifting so you can immediately put what you learn into practice.
Whether you are brand new to lifting, returning to the gym, or already experienced and wanting to sharpen your technique, this workshop is built to help you become more confident and intentional behind the bar.
Led by Auty Brooks, a personal trainer with more than 20 years of experience and 15 years as a military fitness instructor, alongside Bambi Gray, veteran, personal trainer and founder of Boots to Barbells.
You’ll leave with more than a workout. You’ll leave understanding the lift.
All proceeds support Boots to Barbells programming for veterans and serving CAF members.
