Learn to knit on circular needles and produce simple colour work.

About this event

Who - My name is Fiona and I am an experienced knitter who has been teaching knitting for about 5 years in a yarn shop in Harrogate.

Knitting is my passion and I want to share the benefits and skills with you.

What - The Workshop is 3 hours long , during which you will begin to knit a cowl. You will learn how to use circular knitting needles to knit in the round. You will also learn how to produce a simple colour work motive.

Where - This workshop will be held at Yarn Etc Harrogate

Refreshments will be available in the form of tea and coffee

How - The price of this event is £50 and can only be made payable through Eventbrite. All payments must be made in full to secure a place. The price includes yarn and needles for this project.

If a minimum of 4 people is not reached then the workshop will be cancelled , however you will be contacted about future dates for the workshop .

There will be a maximum of 6 people (I am sorry but adults only)

Accessibility

Access to the shop is via a front door with a slip step over the threshold. However access to the workshop is via a corridor, unfortunately it is not possible to get a wheelchair through there. There are also steps into the workshop.

Cancellation Policy

Up to 2 weeks prior to class – I will happily issue a full refund OR, if you prefer, transfer you to another class date should one be available.

Less than 2 weeks notice then no refund will be given but we will endeavour to transfer you to another class on an alternative date.

Less than 48 hours notice - no refund or transfer will be given (exceptions - please see Covid 19 Policy).

Fiona Finch reserves the right to cancel this workshop should insufficient places be reserved. A full refund will therefore be made in this event or you may be offered an alternative date.

All refunds/transfers/changes to classes is to be directed to the Tutor of the workshop.

Covid 19 Cancellation Policy

Should you show symptoms of covid 19 or have had a recent positive Covid 19 test result or need to legally quarantine due to close contact with a person with Covid 19 then please DO NOT attend the workshop. Please do let us know as soon as you can and you place will be transferred to the next available workshop or you will be issued with a refund.

Any personal data (name, telephone number, email address etc) you give Fiona Finch in relation to the booking of classes will only ever be used in conjunction with the class you are attending and/or future classes you have shown an interest in attending. Any data received will be kept, securely, for a maximum of one year and will be destroyed at that time. Your data will never be sold or used for any other purpose.
