Want to learn to crochet but don't know where to start? Well this is your chance! In just one session you can learn how to read patterns, perform base stitches and work in rows leaving you with the knowledge to create your own very own masterpieces. And don't worry, with expert instruction and a supportive learning environment, you can expect to learn the basics without all of the hassle. Come join us and learn to crochet the easy way.
During our session, you’ll:
- Get comfortable holding your hook, yarn, and project
- Learn the three main components of crochet: yarning over, where to put your hook, pulling loops through other loops
- Master single and double crochet stitches
- Practice THE hardest part of crocheting - your starting chain and first row
- Learn how to turn your work, and increase and decrease stitches
- Take home LOTS of cheat sheets with instructions and diagrams
Yes, young people are welcome to take the beginner class! There’s no minimum age, however the student should be able to take instruction in a grown-up group session.
Cost: $70 for 1 sessions
Materials provided: Crochet hook, a ball of yarn and notions are included in the class fee.
