About this Event
Curious about self-watering planters?
Join Master Gardener Jeff Miller for this live demo at 12:15 PM in the UF/IFAS Auditorium during the April 25th Spring Fling! You'll learn how to build a simple self-watering planter using two 5-gallon buckets. This clever container gardening method creates a small water reservoir beneath the soil that allows plants to draw moisture as they need it. The result: consistent soil moisture, stronger root growth, and less frequent watering—perfect for vegetables, herbs, and small-space gardening.
