Travel journaling is a beautiful way to capture those moments. Instead of simply taking photos, you can slow down, observe, and translate what you see and feel into expressive pages filled with colour and personal notes.
In this relaxed and welcoming workshop, Elena will guide you through some techniques that make it easy to add watercolour art to your journal during The New Zealand Festival of Christmas.
Together we’ll create a festival-inspired journal page using colours, shapes, and small sketches to capture the atmosphere of the New Zealand Festival of Christmas.
You’ll then be able to take your page home and add your own reflections and words about your experience in Greytown. This can be the beginning of a travel journal that grows with every trip you take.
Included in the workshop:
- Traveler’s Company Watercolour Paper Notebook (value $11.90)
- MD Drawing Pen – Black 0.3 (value $9.90)
- Blackwing Natural Pencil (value $7.90)
- Watercolour paint for use on the day, and a paintbrush you can take home.
