So you've seen that dance when everyone gets up in lines and does some foot shuffly thing, and you stand behind trying to copy what they do as best you while doubting your sanity at the same time.Now you don't need to go insane, coz we're gonna break it down and teach it to you exactly as they do it on the dance floor!
It's called the Shim Sham, and you can think of it like the anthem of Lindy Hop, everyone knows it and everyone does it!
Choreographed as a tap number in the 20's for performers at the end of a show, it was readapted later on for Lindy Hoppers to have a go.
It's a solo routine so you don't need a partner, and you don't need to know anything about dancing to do this class!
