The Shim Sham is the classic solo jazz routine that no social dance event can call itself complete without.Originally a tap routine choreographed by Leonard Reed and Willie Bryant in 1927, it was adapted and expanded by Frankie Manning in the 1980's and now Perth City Swing is excited to share it with YOU!
We’ll be teaching the Basic Shim Sham AND the Rhythm Shim Sham simultaneously so whether you’re a solo jazz rookie curious to try a new thing or a dab hand looking to level up your footwork skills, this 90 minute two-in-one ALL LEVEL Specialty Class is guaranteed to have something for everyone!
