Learn the art of free machine embroidery
Join Julie on Saturday 14th December, 2024 at 10:30 AM for a workshop where you can unleash your creativity through the art of free machine embroidery. Hosted at the Creative Space in Staple Hill, Bristol, Julie will introduce you to a process that can be as simple or complex as your next project needs to be.
During the workshop you will discover the endless possibilities of free machine embroidery, a technique that allows you to create stunning designs using just a sewing machine and your imagination. Julie will help you to decide on a design/drawing to use for the experimental process. Julie will guide you through a choice of fabrics and threads as you explore the techniques that she has spent many years developing for her award winning artwork.
The planned class is designed to be inclusive. While processes and techniques will be taught, you will be able to work at your own pace in a relaxed and creative environment.
