DetailsThis is a lovely yet intense portrait painting workshop. It is dedicated to learning how to paint faces with bold abstract colours. We will cover basic proportions of the face, how to see colour, colour theory, painting without fear, palette knife techniques and other modern painting techniques. Learn how to paint Bold, Fearless Modern Portraits with artist Lillian Gray.

Acrylic & Oil Paint (Acrylic for the underpainting, oil to add texture on top)

Easels, canvas and aprons are all provided.

#### Who can attend?
Adults or teenagers who wish to learn the art of painting bold portraits in oil painting. We will ensure that you leave with unblocked creativity and increased confidence when approaching a blank canvas and a portrait.
#### What is the structure of the workshop?
The session will consist of a lecture with a slideshow, discussions, demonstrations and enough time to paint. There isn't enough time to complete a portrait painting during the class, but you will be well on your way and be able to finish at home.
