We are thrilled to be hosting Loz Yee in Canberra for one day only to share her experience, knowledge and love of solo jazz with us! There are two workshops being held on Saturday 8 June 2024 - here's the rundown!Class 1: 10.15-11.30am
All Levels: Badass break steps!
Whether you're brand new to solo jazz or an old hat, this class is for you! You may have learnt the Shim Sham break (or not! That’s ok too, we’ll recap) but there’s a world of break steps to explore and build, so let’s hop to it!
15 mins BREAK
Class 2: 11.45-1.00pm
All levels: I love Charleston!
Fall in love with Charleston, with a spotlight on styling, some cool combos and easy to remember repertoire.
LUNCH BREAK (45 mins)
Class 3: 1.45-3pm
Challenge Class (Int+)
This class is for keen bean jazzers who are ready for a little challenge. For intermediate+ solo dancers ready for a challenge! Look forward to mixing improvisation ideas and choreography.
$30 per workshop or $80 for all 3 classes. $100 if you'd like to include the Happy Feet social the night before! Plus, we can even bring lunch in for you in the break if you opt for it!
We very much welcome you to bring friends who already love solo jazz, or whom you'd like to introduce to swing dancing or this fabulous dance style!
