Join us to learn about The Woods Project's mission, the impact on Houston youth, and learn how you can get involved. The Woods Project creates wilderness exploration experiences that promote academic success, college and career readiness, and life-long thriving for Houston high school students who wouldn’t otherwise have access to these opportunities. TWP seeks to develop the following abilities: Independence/Self-Control, Social Intelligence, Adaptability, Grit/Perseverance.Jessi Manley is the Development Director for The Woods Project. Jessi graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a Bachelor of Arts & Science in Exercise Science. Jessi joined The Woods Project after working with FamiliesEmpowered, another non-profit in Houston, where she was responsible for event planning. Jessi has always had a heart for service and a passion for helping others. She understands the importance of working with today’s young people. She is part of The Woods Project and is excited to be part of positively impacting the lives of so many Houston students.
