About this Event
Learn color theory and pigment mixing with oil pastels
In this hands-on workshop, local artist Claude Monét will teach you about color theory, then guide you in hands-on practice in pigment mixing using oil pastels. You'll walk away with a new skill set and a new way of seeing the art around you.
Meet the artist: Claude K. Mogét is an Indianapolis Artist and Painter specializing in portraiture and figure work. He received his BFA in Painting from Herron School of Art at IU in 2019. He has worked as an art educator, curator, and creator independently for over a decade, from gallery shows to ongoing projects like Fruity Goods, where his signature campy, Queer, retro Americana aesthetics have been compressed into bite sized, accessible consumables like stickers and pins, which are sold at several local boutiques, such as Rooftop Fruit and The Bloomington Stitchery. https://www.instagram.com/claudekmoget/
