About this Event

New to Mahjong? Start here.

Join us for a frightfully good time after hours at the Shore Society shop for a beginner American Mahjong lesson by Mahjong IRL. We'll cover everything from the basics to playing a full game — no experience needed. Spooky attire is encouraged, and hand-drawn portraits will be available by Brenna Claire Artistry.

All materials are provided, and every player leaves with their own 2026 Big Card, so you can keep playing long after the lesson ends.

Come early or stay after to shop — you'll get 10% off at Shore Society the day of the event.
