Learn @ Lunch: A Tribute to Helen Corbitt

For ages 18 & up

After spending nearly 40 years in The Lone Star State, this Chef and Cookbook Author certainly influenced the way Texans ate and entertained and rightfully earned the title of Grand Dame of Texas Cookery. You'll learn a little about our culinary history and influences in this one hour, lunch-time class as you enjoy some of the dishes that Ms. Corbitt became famous for.

For ages 18 & up. Alcoholic beverages will not be served in this class. 

About Helen Corbitt:

After eight years of persuasion by Stanley Marcus, Helen Corbitt became the director of Neiman Marcus food services and remained with the company for 20 years. She had previously worked at Skidmore College, Presbyterian Hospital in New Jersey, Cornell Medical Center, University of Texas, Houston Country Club, Garden Room at Joske's, and the Driskell Hotel in Austin.
