It's a New Year and a New Season for LEARN FROM the PROS. Season 2, Episode 1 features our own Five Rivers Chapter Board Member, Marty Saunders, presenting "Ice Fishing" on Saturday, February 8, 2025 on the ice at the Vallecito Marina starting at 10:00 am. Marty has been ice fishing our area lakes for the last 6 years and he has been fascinated on how it has expanded his understanding of stillwater fishing. The demonstration will include safety precautions, gear, terminal tackle, strategy and the use of electronics. It's also a great way to get outside in the dead of winter and learn how to fish cold, clean and fishable water that your TU membership helps maintain and conserve.Parking is available at the Marina and please remember to purchase the parking pass by dropping your daily fee in the box provided by the Pine River Irrigation District to help them in their mission to keep the public water of Vallecito open to all of us no matter what time of year we enjoy it.
