Come and learn the meditative art of brush pen calligraphy from a lettering artist. No previous experience is required, and no, neat handwriting is not a pre-requisite!You will learn how to hold a brush pen, set up your workspace, ergonomics, the basic strokes, letter formation, how to connect letters into words and phrases, and make a card.
Each participant will receive a Tombow Fudenosuke brush pen, practice sheets and a workbook, tracing paper, personalized place cards, a list of lettering resources, and a blank card and envelope to create a one-of-a-kind greeting card.
The class will be relaxed and fun. Drinks and snacks will be provided. There will be an assortment of different brush pens and markers to experiment and play with.
