This in-person event is designed especially for anyone aged 50 and up or those who just want to learn and explore AI in a fun and easygoing way. No stress, just learning and cool conversations. Come meet new friends and boost your tech skills! If you can operate a smart phone, you can use AI.

Note: This class will run 1hr a day for 3 consecutive days.

Info: We will begin with a simple and engaging overview of the evolution of computers and artificial intelligence. You will learn how we moved from early computing to the powerful AI tools available today, and where experts believe the technology is headed next.

We will conclude the session with an open question and answer discussion. There are no wrong questions here. This is a welcoming and supportive learning environment where everyone is encouraged to participate.

Info: During our second session we will build on what we learned in Day 1. After a brief overview, you will watch a live demonstration of how AI tools like ChatGPT actually work.

You will see practical examples of how AI can help with everyday tasks such as writing, research, planning, problem solving, and learning new skills.

We will again end the session with a dedicated question and answer period so you can explore ideas and ask anything you are curious about.

Info: On the final day we will put everything into practice.

Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop, tablet, or smartphone so we can work together using real AI tools. You will learn how to apply AI to real world situations and solve practical problems.

By the end of this session you will leave with the confidence and knowledge to continue using AI on your own and build upon what you have learned.
