About this Event
Whether you're a seasoned gamer or new to the world of Tabletop Role Playing Games (TTRPGs), this event offers something for everyone. Come solo or with friends and immerse yourself in a story.
Our events are a great way to connect with members of local communities and are also perfect for folks arriving in Toronto looking to make new friends.
This adventure seats up to 6 players. Age recommendation,16 years +
What is Mappa Mundi?: The players are chroniclers exploring a world recovering from a century of ecological disaster and cultural isolation, encountering fantastical monsters and creatures roaming the wilds in a world shaped by fate. The system features no combat with goals to research and protect the monsters instead of killing them.
What is a One-Shot?: It is a complete story in one session of gameplay.
General Admission Tickets:
- Tickets are priced and sold per person with Eventbrite fees included.
- Tickets to this event include a private room for you and your fellow adventurers, a specialty-themed food & drinks menu, one of our expert Dungeon Masters to run a full how-to-play (if any new players are in attendance) and an immersive playthrough of a one-shot that includes digital maps, and accompanying music.
- Tickets also include access to the Snakes & Lattes Annex board game library, if you would like to sit and play before the adventure begins.
Changeling Membership Admission: Our Changeling Membership includes event discounts on community tickets and advance sales for our paid subscribers. Each Membership ticket must have a single corresponding Patreon subscription. Proof of subscription will be required at the door.
Game Master (GM): Nick from Dining and Dragons
Player Experience: Any! - Little to no experience with the game, or looking to build confidence, or just have fun!
Character Level: Characters will be pre-set for this adventure by the DM to help support new players learning. Character sheets will be provided and reviewed at the top of the game.
Equipment:
- We will provide paper, pencils, and of course, dice for you to borrow. We also use Chaotic Studios dice kits to help support new players in getting familiar with the different-sized dice. You can acquire your own from them directly here.
- Please bring with you anything else you feel you will need to keep yourself organized or will bring joy during the game.

Info: When the story opportunity arises, there will be a short bio-break sometime in between 7:00 - 10:30. Game length may vary, but the game will end at or before 10:30 PM. If any new players are in attendance, a brief how-to-play tutorial will be offered at the start of the game.
