Leap to Land: Session 1
About this Event
A pattern we keep noticing is that people who want to leave their job to build something rarely stall on talent. They stall on the quiet stuff. The part of them that still says “I work for.” The money story they picked up at the kitchen table. The wait to feel ready.
So we're building a series for it with Dan Sakaki, and it starts with one evening.
Before you build the business, you have to become the owner. This session covers the side of starting out that rarely makes it into a business plan. The shift from “I make things” to “I own this.” The fears and money stories that shape how you price and decide. The roadblocks you set for yourself, like perfectionism and waiting to feel ready.
Come ready to talk, reflect and connect. In two hours you'll
- share your leap story with someone walking the same road
- test your toughest roadblock in a small trio
- set a new money rule for your business
- write a postcard from your future self one year out
You'll leave with a reframe you believe, a practical money habit, a clear picture of where you're headed and new friends who know how brave this step is.
Dan Sakaki is a certified executive coach and the founder of Breakthrough Coaching. After more than 25 years beside entrepreneurs, he's learned that most barriers are self imposed, and that they come down. He sets up the room for safety first, so you can talk honestly about fear, money and who you're becoming.
This is the first time we're running it, and the people in the room help shape the full three part series in February. If you come on the 24th, you'll hear about it first.
And bring the friend who keeps saying “one day.”
