About this Event
LEAN is a systematic methodology focused on eliminating waste and improving efficiency within processes by identifying and removing non-value-added activities, ultimately enhancing value from the customer's perspective. Originating from the Toyota Production System, LEAN principles are widely applicable across various industries to streamline operations and improve quality. By adopting a Lean mindset, organizations can align their purpose with the employees involved in the processes.
Indeed, Lean principles transcend sector boundaries, offering process optimization benefits in manufacturing, service (Banking, IT, Maintenance of Assets & Vehicles), healthcare, nuclear, public service, and construction industries alike.
Objective: This course is an engaging, hands-on introduction to Lean principles, specifically tailored for engineering professionals. Participants will use LEGO blocks to simulate real-world processes, allowing them to visualize and understand key Lean concepts like waste reduction, process optimization, and continuous improvement.
