Lean In Network Vancouver: Rise and Lead
About this Event
About the event
Mentorship is a cycle of impact that grows with every woman it reaches. Today you mentor a woman, tomorrow she mentors another, and in time that woman will do the same for someone else.
For that cycle to begin, a woman first needs a mentor. 85% of Canadian professional women see mentorship as vital to career advancement, but only 15% currently have a mentor (Monday Girl & Environics Research, 2025). Over the evening, you'll hear from keynote speaker Kiersten Enemark, Director, BC Affairs at Council of Canadian Innovators, followed by a panel on mentorship and career growth featuring Kam Raman, Lisa Leblanc, and Saleema Dhalla, moderated by Jennica Palecek. Then you'll join a rotational mentorship networking session with mentors from a range of industries.
Rise and Lead is an evening built around that exchange between women. Come looking for a mentor, come ready to be one, or come as both. Wherever you are in your career, there's a place for you in the room, and we'd love for you to join us.
Note: Light snacks and beverages included in the ticket.

How to prepare for Mentorship Networking:
- Prepare a short introduction. In two or three sentences, say who you are, what you do, and what you're working toward.
- Bring one or two focused questions. Questions about a decision you're facing or a skill you want to build usually lead to the most useful answers.
- Leave room to listen. Save time for the mentor's answer and any follow-up.
- Plan your follow-up. Have your LinkedIn profile ready so you can stay in touch after the event.
