LEAN IN: Make Your Own Mini Quilt

This is an introspective community quilt workshop where students will learn basic hand-piecing, quilting, and binding techniques. Over the course of two 3-hour workshops, participants will complete a mini quilt that answers the questions: what makes you lean in and look closer?

During this time, you will be encouraged to reflect on your environment and incorporate materials from your everyday life. The process will be both independent and collaborative, with instructors to support and guide you through each step.
Workshop Day One (April 12, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM):
- What inspires you?
- Intro to quilting
- Begin piecing and complete quilt top
Workshop Day Two (April 19, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM):
- Quilting
- Binding off
- Group sharing/reflection
