Come celebrate a very special Honky Tonk Tuesday with the release of Leah Sproul’s debut solo record, ”Wild Heart Queen”!This album of (mostly) original songs is a love letter to 90’s country FM radio. The lyrics tell a personal story of reawakening with sounds inspired by the likes of Dwight, Reba, Wynonna, the Chicks, and more!Get ready to boot scoot to a mix of country classics and original songs from the album, featuring the members of Cowtown Country Club and Chris Valencia on fiddle.We’ll have folks stepping an original line dance by Kristin Hamilton to the title song! Bio:
Leah Sproul has often been described as an old soul. Coming from a family of European opera stars, suburban church organists, flower child Reggae guitarists, and breezy Western campfire pickers, she was bound to have an eclectic sound and set of influences. With the vocal phrasing of Patsy Cline and melodic writing of Carol King, Leah’s music strives to conjure connection and understanding through storytelling, humor, and honesty. You may recognize her from the bands Cowtown Country Club and Kristin Hamilton and the Heat. Her debut solo record of original songs, “Wild Heart Queen,” tells a personal story of reawakening with sounds inspired by 90s country FM radio.
