Leah Rutherford with William Armstrong

Both Greenville, SC natives, Leah and William first met while studying music at the Fine Arts Center. Since then, they have performed together at numerous venues throughout Greenville and Miami, including the Peace Center, New World Center, Gusman Concert Hall, Artistphere, Fall For Greenville, Greenville Jazz Fest, etc.

Leah and William are currently pursuing degrees at the acclaimed Frost School of Music, Leah in Jazz Vocal Performance (’28) and William in Jazz Piano Performance (’29). The duo brings an impressive list of accolades: William is a two-time YoungArts winner, while Leah has earned YoungArts with Distinction and is a two-time DownBeat Student Award winner.
