Bear River Glassworks is pleased to announce a very special 104 coe soft glass Venetian style goblet-making class with Leah Nietz Glass! This 3-day event will be on April 19-21, 2024, in Grass Valley, California. In this class, students will learn to blow soft glass at the torch using Venetian techniques to reduce stress in the glass and prevent it from cracking. Students will learn to blow an even bubble using miniature blowpipes and practice the art of heat sculpting to shape the glass.
