Join us for a lovely paddle with lots gorgeous foliage and nature. Stop half way for a nice picnic lunch before heading back.There is a large parking area with port-o-let. Please arrive early to unload.
It is about a 10 mile round trip. It's a casual leaf peeping trip and not difficult (fast) but strenuous (long) please no first timers or anyone with injuries that prevent completing paddle distance of 10 miles
Please bring your own lunch and plenty of water
Please bring a PFD and whistle if BYO
Please bring your sense of fun and adventure
It is cold this time of year so dress appropriately wetsuits/drysuits and booties recommended. Dress in layers. Change of clothes in dry bags, etc.
We also stop at Ferris Acres after the paddle for a hot apple crisp sundae or whatever you want but I highly recommend the hot apple crisp sundae. It is a nice, well earned treat to end the day. Plan to add this to the itinerary!
