In celebration of Women's History Month, join us for an inspiring talk featuring, Maya Meschkuleit, 2024 Paris Olympics Silver Medalist in rowing.
This engaging talk will delve into how leadership and empowerment in sports can be a vehicle for community development and personal growth. Learn how to harness your inner strength, drive change, positively impact and transform entire communities. Don't miss the meet and greet following the talk, where you can interact with Maya and take a photo with her and her silver medal!
Maya Meschkuleit's life intertwines music, sports, and academics. Starting with the violin and piano at age four, she transitioned from soccer to rowing by grade 10, making her senior national team debut in 2022. Now at Yale, she's set to graduate in 2025 with a degree in Global Affairs and Foreign National Policy, having already won gold at World Cup 3 and silver at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Fluent in English, French, and German, Maya enjoys reading fantasy novels and spending time with her family and dog, Kes. She is currently preparing for the LA 2028 Olympics, supported by her community and loved ones.
