About this Event

Objectives of the Workshop

This workshop one day workshop is suitable for business owners/managers who want to drive their business forward and ambitious people who are keen to develop themselves and play a leading role in an organisation. It is highly participative with a mixture of discussion, exercises and activities. Although all modules will be covered, the content will be flexible to meet the needs of those attending on the day.

If you are not sure where to start but looking for answers on how to build your own personal management style or organisational capability, then feel free to contact us for a no obligation consultation. We will guide you and help you decide if this workshop is right for you or recommend a more appropriate alternative.

Exploring the different styles of leadership and identifying when, how and why they are effective in different environments
Developing the mind-set of a Leader
Developing personal awareness
How you can impact on others and gain control of situations
Defining workplace culture
How to recruit talent and build a team around you
Communication – how to get your message across
Speaking in public


Pre-course work

Completing a brief pre-course questionaire and arriving with an open mind, ready to learn.


Meet the Trainer

Kate Wilde is a business adviser and Managing Director of Engage with Business Ltd, specialising in leadership and management development for small business owners. She helps founders step into their role as leaders, building confidence, strengthening decision making and shaping practical systems that make businesses run more smoothly. Kate’s approach is direct, supportive and grounded in real world experience, giving clients the tools they need to lead with clarity and purpose.


Eligability

These small group workshops are funded by Norfolk & Suffolk County Council's and Department of Business and Trade and are open to any business, freelancer, or charity based in Norfolk or Suffolk, UK.

Due to funding restrictions, only one ticket per company is available initially. If a workshop is not fully booked, a second ticket may be requested the day before the event by contacting [email protected]
