About the Leadership Maturity Profile and the Leadership Maturity Framework

The Leadership Maturity Profile (LMP) is a powerful tool for the assessment and development of leadership capacity. Most forward thinking and leading-edge organisations are starting to use the Leadership Maturity Profile in their ‘sustainable future’ oriented leadership development programs and in their ongoing development of leaders.

The LMP is based on the Leadership Maturity Framework (LMF), an integral perspective of human development concerned with how adults make meaning and sense of reality at nine different stages of leadership (ego) maturity.

The LMF reflects a deep and dynamic understanding of how and why individuals and organisations think and behave as they do and offers insightful, effective maps for individual and organisational development and change. It applies 50+ years of ongoing research into human development to support individuals and organisations in becoming more effective, agile, self-aware, collaborative, wise and compassionate.

The LMP measures your current action logic, or level of transformational leadership capacity, within the nine different stages of leadership (ego) maturity of the LMF. This current level is the level from which you mostly see things, make sense of things and act in the world. Each successive stage reflects a higher level of complexity of thought and action as individuals and groups become more effective and insightful.

In addition, part of the LMP’s effectiveness lies in its high level of face validity; that is, it makes sense to clients, helping them recognise their patterns of thinking and behaviour and better understand their own strengths and what they can do to meet their personal and professional challenges.

About the Sentence Completion Form

Your completed Sentence Completion Form will be analysed by highly trained raters and then used to generate your unique Leadership Maturity Profile (“LMP”). Generation of your (LMP) via the Sentence Completion Form is highly validated and the most robust assessment tool available for measurement of your leadership maturity. Your LMP will identify your current stage of maturity, meaning making or as it is also called, action logic. It will point to your specific strengths, interests and vulnerabilities. It will show your fallback position and your growing edge as well as your greatest challenges. The LMP also offers stage specific recommendations for continuing your personal and professional learning, growth and transformation.
