Registration includes the complete two-day Leadership Strategy Intensive, strategic planning materials, facilitated discussions, and refreshments. Every participant will leave with a clear, personalized plan of action for leading effectively in ministry, the marketplace, or both. Meals, lodging, and transportation are not included. Attendance is limited to 12 leaders.

Transportation and Parking

Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the Leadership Strategy Intensive.

· Rideshare: Uber and Lyft are readily available throughout Charlotte and provide convenient transportation from Charlotte Douglas International Airport, nearby hotels, and the event location.

· Light rail: The LYNX Blue Line’s 9th Street Station is approximately half a block from the venue. Tickets may be purchased at station vending machines or through the CATS-Pass app.

· Parking: Paid parking is available within walking distance. The closest public option is the gravel lot at 319 E. 9th Street. Payment instructions are posted in the lot.

· Hotel transportation: Participants staying at a nearby Uptown hotel may be able to walk to the venue. Please confirm the walking route and distance directly with your hotel.

Allow additional travel time for weekday traffic and parking. Parking fees, rideshare expenses, airfare, and other transportation costs are not included in registration.


Before You Register

Two-Day Commitment

Participants should plan to attend both days of the Leadership Strategy Intensive, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., to receive the full experience and complete their 2027 leadership action plan.

Arrival and Check-In

Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. each day. Sessions will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m., so please arrive early enough to check in, get settled, and prepare for the day.

What to Bring

Please bring a laptop or tablet, charger, notebook, calendar, and any relevant organizational or strategic-planning documents that will help support your work.

Meals and Refreshments

Meals are not included with registration. However, several eateries are located near the venue, and participants will receive a one-hour lunch break each day. Please refer to the provided list of nearby restaurants when making your lunch plans. Refreshments will be provided, and participants are welcome to bring personal snacks into the meeting space.

Pre-Work Questionnaire

Before the Leadership Strategy Intensive, you will receive a questionnaire about your leadership role, goals, priorities, and current challenges. Your responses will help ensure that the Leadership Lab is focused on your goals and provides a relevant, personalized experience.

Participation

The Leadership Lab is an interactive working experience—not a lecture-only event. Participants will engage in facilitated discussions, reflection, collaborative exercises, and strategic-planning activities. Please come prepared to contribute, learn from other leaders, and actively develop your plan of action for 2027.

The Leadership Lab is intended to be a trusted environment where participants can speak honestly about their leadership experiences, organizations, opportunities, and challenges. By registering, participants agree to respect the privacy of others and not share personal stories, organizational information, strategies, or discussions outside the Leadership Lab without the express permission of the person who shared them.
