Lead (formerly Self Love Beauty) will host their "Lead with STEM & Confidence: Father & Daughter Program." Girls ages 6 to 18, enjoy a fun night of learning, talking, and doing—in a way that builds stronger bonds, improves communication, and strengthens relationships.In STEM, having a high level of confidence, resilience, and self-esteem are critical to facing the tribulations of exploring the unknown and pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
Our Program:
•Provide girls a supportive environment for experimentation and a toolkit of mental health resources to bounce back from setbacks and try again
•Nurture confidence, encouraging curiosity and resilience in conquering challenges, which research shows significantly impacts STEM career decisions.
•Foster self-sufficiency by empowering youth to initiate goals, overcome challenges, and make independent decisions through confidence-building activities.
It is critical that we empower our girls to have the strength to trust in themselves and their ability to achieve.
Cost: $25 per adult and $15 per child which includes:
•Dinner and entry to the event
•Work together on STEM project that you get to take home
•Additional connection and confidence activities
