This course meets CDPH requirements for Supervisor/Project Monitor training. In this five-day course, students will learn how lead abatement is performed in a variety of settings. Students will also learn how to safely handle lead materials during construction projects that impact surfaces coated with lead paint. Students will learn how to select appropriate abatement actions for varying field conditions.In order to become a certified lead supervisor or a lead project monitor, you will need to complete the 40-hr Lead S/PM Initial, sign up and pass the CPS State certification exam (either the supervisor, project monitor or both), submit an application along with $75 the certification and a photo to CDPH. Once you receive your card from CDPH you will be certified.
