About this Event
About Night at the Rubell
As trailblazers in the community, Le Jardin Community Center is proud to generate awareness of the importance and impact of the Arts in education through creative interpretations.
"Art Night at the Rubell" is an exclusive fundraiser created to drive awareness of Le Jardin's mission to improve the quality of life for the most vulnerable children. “Art Night at the Rubell Museum” will immerse guests in a unique cultural experience when the work of world-renown artists and Le Jardin's talented children and families co-exist for one night. The renditions of art created by Le Jardin's talented children, families, and teachers will be available for purchase.
Artwork on Display and On Sale
Renditions of artwork from renowned artists such as Jackson Pollock, David Driskell, Romero Britto, and Joan Miro were created by our talented teachers, children, and their parents.
The creation of the artwork is a cultural enhancement activity designed to extend learning beyond the classroom and encourage exploration of the arts. Students and parents learn about different art techniques, how to manipulate colors, work with different mediums, and implement brush strokes.
Parent involvement is vital to the process of achieving the final product!
