Le Facteur presents ▶︎ Victor Rottier (dancer for Johannes Wieland, Staatstheater Kassel/ choreographer) comes to Paris for a 5 day intensive LAB!(For professional dancers and performers)

I give you slam! and a studio in Paris.
A highly physically demanding, movement oriented workshop stuffed with set material, technical concepts, text and improvisation. I focus on strengthening the individual while flocking and flying solo. Aiming to challenge you, the space and the group while pushing to gain clarity and precision.
We will grind through the floor, cripple the space, sweat and trample on boundaries in these days. And of course all of this will be accompanied by handpicked and 100% organic tunes!
▶︎ Victor Rottier is a choreographer, performer and film director from the Netherlands. A graduate of ArtEZ University of the Arts, he has been involved in a various of choreographic projects with the Think Big Project in Hannover & Guy & Roni's Poetic Disasters Club. In 2014 he joined the company of the Staatstheater Kassel and performed productions by Hofesh Shechter, Johannes Wieland, Maxine Doyle, Tom Weinberger and Helder Seabra. He recently toured with the Panorama Dance Theater in "42".
Victor has also worked as a rehearsal director for Johannes Wieland and has assisted work of Lenka Vagnerová and Ryan Mason & Annamari Keskinen. He has had the chance to choreograph for the Choreografische Werkstatt Kassel, produce pieces for various dance formations and co-create the trio "BASTARD" selected at Tanzfaktor touring through Switzerland.
In addition to performing and choreographing, his film "Are as I" has been selected for international festivals in Italy, Germany and Austria. He also teaches internationally, offering a series of classes and workshops for professional dancers and dance students, such as at the b12 festival in Berlin.

Victor Rottier joins Le Facteur in October 2022 to offer workshops that reflect their mutual identities.
Le Facteur, a dance-theatre company formed as a collective of artists, evolves between Switzerland, France and Belgium. Le Facteur has four active productions: Tombés (2017), Tradition Travioli (2018), Les Dames (2019) and Élus (2022), and regularly offers workshops and collaborations.
