THE LATIN DANCE STARS ALLDAYER has now been rescheduled to June 2022. We will confirm the date as soon as we are able to. We have provisionally pencilled in the same second Saturday which will be the 11th June 2022.

If you have purchased a ticket:

Policy 1 - Your ticket will be the same for the rescheduled date.

Policy 2 - If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, you can request a name change by contacting us.

Policy 3 - If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, you can request a refund. (If purchased on Eventbrite this will be minus your booking fee). This will be available until 31st December 2021.

✪ THE SALSA TWINS UK and HUMBA RUMBA ✪ have joined forces to bring a spectacular one-day dance event celebrating the best in SALSA and BACHATA to central Leeds. We have top professionals travelling into this vibrant Yorkshire city to share their passion and give you the moves and top tips to really shine on the dance floor. ___________________________________________________________________ ✪ THE VENUE ✪ Riley Smith Theatre, Leeds University Union, 4 Lifton Place, Leeds LS2 The Riley Smith Theatre is a beautiful room with an amazing sound system. It’s a great location within walking distance of the city centre with its amazing choice of bars and restaurants. Parking is available close-by and Leeds Train Station is only 20 minutes by foot. All ticket prices will increase and cost more on the door. ___________________________________________________________________ ✪ MORE ABOUT THE ARTISTS ✪ ★ SEAN BABATUNDE Sean discovered salsa in 2005 and instantly fell in love. Within a short space of time he began teaching, performing and competing. He won the London LatinFest Championship in 2008 and the British Professional Salsa Championship in 2009. He also competed in the 2007 and 2008 world and European IDO championships. Sean travels to many congresses and festivals all over the world to teach and social dance. He is adored by many for his unique smooth style, friendly personality and charming smile which makes everyone feel special. ★ JUAN SOTO Colombian dancer Juan has made the UK his home and resides currently in London. He is regularly seen teaching Salsa and Bachata around the UK and teaching at his own dance company called Latino Flava. Equally proficient in both Latin styles he has won the Spanish Salsa Championships twice and the UK Bachata Championships once. ★ MAURICIO REYES A regular at events in the Yorkshire area, this man hardly needs an introduction! Originally from Latin America but based in Birmingham, Mauricio is the found of Latin Motion, the biggest Salsa outfit in the Midlands since it was established in the early 1990s. Mauricio has been dancing and listening to Salsa all his life and has been teaching since the tender age of 17! As a DJ he is guaranteed to read the crowd, spinning a broad range of top Salsa, from NY to LA, Colombian to Cuban, etc. Mauricio has been DJing since 1994 and is a regular at many of the biggest salsa events in the UK and abroad. ★ THE SALSA TWINS IDTA Certified Internationally Renowned Instructors/ Performers/ Choreographers/ Entertainers who perform and teach regularly around the world. Rahul and Deepak were also semi-finalists on the famous tv show “Greece Got Talent” and they have appeared in numerous TV shows and even performed in the famous Kremlin palace in Moscow. The twins are trained dancers in salsa/hip hop and Bollywood. They are very unique and original with an amazing energy, which is felt by their audiences. ★ DJ ROSI Of Spanish origin, living in the UK, Rosi grew up listening to latin rhythms. Her passion for Latin music led her to Salsa dancing and later to DJing. Rosi is co-founder of Humba Rumba Salsa and has run regular classes and events since 2003 when DJ Rosi made her debut at Hull’s infamous night spot The Lamp alongside DJ Esdiaz. In 2014, Rosi and Paul launched the Humba Rumba NYC nights at an amazing dance venue in Selby. These have become known as a place to find quality music for both on1 and on2 cross body dancers. Rosi is resident DJ at NYC plus she is a regular favourite at other events and congresses in the UK and abroad. With her ability to read the dance floor, Rosi plays music for the dancers she has in front of her and will keep the floor busy all night long. ★ DJ FOLIVI DJ Folivi has been on the Salsa scene for the past ten years playing regularly at congresses in Europe and the Middle East. He is the organiser of the Crazy Latin Weekender in Luxemburg. ___________________________________________________________________ ✪ 20 MINUTE WALK FROM LEEDS STATION ✪ Head up Park Row, through Millenium Square, past Leeds Metropolitan University onto Woodhouse Lane towards Headingley.
