LBNA Woodlawn Park Clean Up + Neighborhood Night Out

Neighborhood Night Out hosted annually at Woodlawn Park includes invitations for Des Moines Fire & Police to make an appearance in the community. This event is to mimic the National Night Out event held annually by the nation in August. The reason events like this one are important is because they promote community-building efforts through police/first responder partnerships while increasing neighborhood camaraderie among residents.
Park and Recreations is also supporting the community in our quarterly Adopt-A-Park clean up effort by providing supplies and tools necessary for keeping our parks clean.
