Lazy Sunday started as a conversation between friends in January 2020 in Portland, Oregon. Throughout the beginning of the pandemic, B and Rani traded voice notes with guitar riffs and lyric ideas. The duo became a trio when KT joined on bass, and writing continued. The trio eventually wrote four songs, which became a four-song demo. Jeremy joined as Lazy Sunday’s drummer, and the four went on to write the songs that would become Another Summer. Full of ‘90s nostalgia pop-punk, the Another Summer LP was released by Salinas Records in February 2024. Lazy Sunday is joined by Time Theft and Lesser Halves.
