“Layne Staley Tribute East” is the first-ever East Coast tribute concert, held in Boston, dedicated to honoring the legacy of Layne Staley and Mike Starr while raising awareness and support for addiction recovery.

We’ve modeled the “LSTE” event very closely after the official Layne Staley Tribute held in Seattle. 2025 marks the 23rd year. We’re now bringing the powerful tradition to the East Coast for the very first time. More than a concert, it’s a mission-driven, nonprofit event, that turns tragedy into hope.

Boston-area Alice in Chains tribute bands Nothingsafe and The Real Thing,will bring fans an unforgettable night of music, remembrance, and purpose. Brought to you by Nehi Stripes Seattle, the official media outlet of the Seattle-based Layne Staley Tribute.

The event is a deeply personal and authentic experience.Proceeds will support musicians struggling with fentanyl and opioid addiction and provide resources for their families, through donations to the Layne Staley Memorial Fund thru Therapeutic Health Services (THS) in Seattle and Charles River Recovery in Weston, MA.
