About this Event
Baltimore Action Legal Team is thrilled to announce the relaunch of our Lawyer Up! series!
This session, we are joined by Aneesa Khan from The Office of The Public Defender and
Marja Plater from The Washington Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs to discuss the increased criminalization of youth in Baltimore, how it impacts children and their families, the recent law enacted through HB814/SB744 in Maryland, and how communities can intervene in the increased criminalization of Baltimore’s black children.
Doors will be open at Baltimore Unity Hall at 6:00PM and the session will begin at 6:30PM. Dinner provided! Masks are required in the space and will be provided at the door.
