This 40-plus hour course is designed for law enforcement agencies wishing to minimize officer injuries and civil liabilities due to vehicular incidents that occur during patrol operations. This BLEOST approved course covers all topics involving Law Enforcement Driving with many hours spent on a closed driving course.
Required:
Certified Officer with departmental approval for attendance
Patrol vehicle in good condition with at least one spare tire
(2 recommended)
Laptop with *PowerPoint
DOT approved helmet
Foul weather clothing
This is not an easy course and 100 percent attendance is mandatory. The instructor candidate will attend classroom and practicals during the day and study at night. It is highly recommended that the student stay in local accommodations due to logistics.
